Our Purpose

Meet the Founders

CLPBP was founded by a team of experienced practitioners and academic experts, with a shared commitment to legal education and access to justice. Our founders include the following:

  • Sarah Thompson, JD – Former appellate attorney and adjunct law professor. Sarah has a background in legal writing and ethics.
  • Dr. Michael Chen – Corporate and intellectual property expert. Michael has taken a research-based approach to his legal work.
  • Lisa Ramirez, Esq. – A family law and advocacy expert with over 20 years of practice experience. Lisa focuses on practical skills and client-centered approaches to the law.
  • David Patel, JD, LLM – A recognized expert in legislative analysis and compliance. David keeps our materials up-to-date and relevant.
